The IWSC is the premier competition of its kind in the world. Its aim is to promote the quality and excellence of the world’s best wines, spirits and liqueurs. This standard is achieved through a rigorous two-stage judging process of professional blind tasting and detailed technical analysis. This year the competition received more than 5,800 entries from over 70 countries and successfully organized over 16 weeks of continual judging on four days of each week. It is this professional dedication and technical excellence that sets the IWSC apart from other competitions who judge thousands of entries in a matter of days.

Icewine
All our icewines are naturally produced and allowed to mature slowly over 2-3 years, are long on the palate and in great balance. Well-paired with fois gras and a variety of cheeses of strong character; also served with desserts less sweet than the icewine. But, - best appreciated on its own.

Our Vidal 2004 Icewine reveals rich tropical fruit aromas, great depth and an extended finish.

Pronounced honeyed peach flavours. Aromatic fruit perfume with a hint of caramel. Flavour is somewhere between Riesling and Muscat. Extra special is that this Geisenheim is non-filtered, just as our award-winning icewines, allowing even more flavour to be discerned by the palate.

Vin Doux Naturel
A fortified sweet red wine which can be served as an aperitif or as an after dinner digestif. Aged in oak for 5 years allowing the development of subtle, mellow, rich flavours. Seduces a variety of blue cheeses such as Roquefort, Stilton, harmonises well with all light desserts and of course with dark chocolate.
